| The Mavi Guesthouse is one of the best hostels I have during my trip throughout the Middle East and Turkey. The staff, especially the owner Ali, are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgable about Istanbul. Ali even took us out one night to a fashionable nightclub with cheap drinks and a fantastic DJ. The rooms are clean and all occupants get their own small security locker. There's also a hostel safe, which is free of charge. Only drawback is although there is 24hr hot water, you need to scarifice pressure for heat but this is only a very small problem. |
