The Beijing Far East International Youth Hostel is situated in a preserved and protected Hutong area, typical local residency neighborhood. The hostel is quite concern about the green and enironmental protection. Smoking is prohibited in some parts of the hotel. The hostel was the former residence of a warlord in the beginning of the last century.
